From 16 weeks, our Well-Being Scan offers reassurance by checking your baby's heartbeat, movements and wellbeing in a calm, private clinic environment.
Our wellbeing scans allow parents to hear and see their baby's heartbeat and movements while receiving reassurance from experienced sonographers using ultrasound imaging.
What The Scan Includes
- Heartbeat confirmation
- Fetal general wellbeing check
- Baby movement reassurance
- Placenta location assessment (from 24 weeks)
- Fluid assessment around baby (from 24 weeks)
- Wellbeing report by email
- 2 x black & white prints
- Scan time – 5-7 minutes
- Optional 4D preview available
Digital videos and images are not included but can be purchased separately.
Your Scan Explained
The Well-Being Scan provides reassurance by confirming fetal heartbeat, movements and general wellbeing from 16 weeks gestation onwards.
Parents are welcome to discuss any concerns with the experienced sonographer during the visit, and onward referrals to NHS services can be arranged if required.
We advise parents not to miss their regular NHS scans.
