Your ScanOur Gender Scan in Leicester lets you find out your baby’s sex and see signs of heartbeat and movement using professional ultrasound imaging. The scan is available from 16 weeks gestation, with our Express Gender Scan package available from 15 weeks for parents eager to discover earlier.
During your appointment, our experienced sonographer will explain what is being seen and answer any questions. If any clinical concerns arise, we can support referrals to NHS care providers.
Please note: While we aim for accurate gender determination, no private ultrasound can guarantee 100% accuracy.
Before Your Scan
- Arrive 5 minutes early to allow time for parking and check‑in.
- On arrival, you’ll complete a Consent Form to confirm your details and agree to terms.
- You may bring up to four guests; family and children are welcome.
- For an abdominal scan, a full bladder is required. Please drink ~500 ml clear fluids one hour before and avoid emptying your bladder.
- Please bring your pregnancy notes if you have them, as these may assist our qualified sonographers.
Express Gender Scan (From 15 Weeks
Our Express Gender Scan is available from 15 weeks gestation and includes early gender determination. This package also offers additional benefits such as free digital images and a gender reveal balloon or cannon, plus a 100% free rescan if baby’s position makes gender difficult to confirm.
Important Information
- The scan is primarily to assess fetal wellbeing and determine gender; it’s not designed to provide digital images/videos. Any purchased digital downloads will include just what is captured during your appointment.
- Deposits are non‑refundable, regardless of notice period, as payment covers clinic service and sonographer time.
- Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours’ notice and is subject to availability; specific slots cannot be guaranteed.
- No additional scan time or rescans will be offered solely to obtain better images.
- The quality of images depends on the baby’s position, which is beyond our control.

COVID-19 POLICY
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you it will be helpful in case our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your early reassurance scan.
Rescan Policy
The quality of your scan and your satisfaction are very important to us. For our Express Gender Reveal package only, if in our sonographer’s professional opinion we’re unable to complete the primary purpose of your scan, we may offer you a free rescan appointment. If a rescan is not possible for any reason, alternative options will be discussed with you.
Refund
It should be noted that refunds are not given in any case as payment is taken for use of the Clinic Service & Sonographer's valuable time.
